The Baltimore Orioles are one of the best young teams in all of baseball.
They got even better at the trade deadline, acquiring Jack Flaherty to bolster their starting rotation.
The O’s currently have the best record in the American League at 66-41.
One of their key young stars is infielder Gunnar Henderson.
Henderson burst onto the scene late last season and made a good first impression.
This year has been an encore of sorts, as Henderson has proven to be a key contributor for the Orioles in his first full season in the big leagues.
According to Orioles writer Nathan Ruiz, Henderson has an OPS over .900 since the beginning of June.
When asked about this, Henderson made a very bold prediction.
Gunnar Henderson, who’s OPSing over .900 since the start of June: “I haven't really felt like I've shown the whole package yet. Still feel like I'm getting going a little bit.”

Henderson’s prediction was that the best is still yet to come.
The young Orioles star says that he still hasn’t shown fans the “whole package,” and that he still feels like he’s just now getting going.
This is certainly a bold prediction, but if he’s correct, then the best truly is yet to come for Henderson, who has already had a fantastic season.
The 22-year-old is hitting just .247, but has hit 18 home runs and has 49 RBI.
He also is reaching base at a .338 clip while slugging .482 and posting an OPS of .820 on the season.
If the best is still yet to come for the Orioles star, then it can only mean good things for the Orioles as a whole, who have been the American League’s best team and look ready for a deep October run.
