Carlos Rodon is headed to the Bronx.
Late on Thursday, the New York Yankees came to an agreement with the left-hander on a six-year, $162 million contract.
After losing Jameson Taillon, who signed a four-year deal with the Chicago Cubs, the Bronx Bombers have found the starting pitcher they needed.
Rodon won 14 games in 2022 with the San Francisco Giants and posted a 2.88 ERA in 31 starts and 178 innings of work.
The veteran lefty opted out after year one of his two-year deal.
On Twitter, MLB Network posted a list of all starting pitching options for the Yankees, a list which now is much deeper with the addition of Rodon.

Yankees Strengthen Rotation With Rodon
The Yankees may now have the best starting rotation in all of baseball.
At the top, they have Gerrit Cole, Nestor Cortes, and now Rodon.
Behind those three, the Yankees have two more starters with high upside in Luis Severino and Frankie Montas, both of whom are under contract for one more year.
Other options include Domingo German, Clarke Schmidt, and Deivi Garcia.
Beyond having one of the strongest rotations in baseball, the Yankees have plenty of depth to go with it and finally have the ace they were looking for this offseason.
New York won 99 games and captured their first AL East title since 2019, ultimately reaching the ALCS.
With Justin Verlander now in a New York Mets uniform, the Yankees have become a serious threat the Houston Astros and are now in a position to challenge the defending champions for American League supremacy.
