What a way for the Miami Dolphins to finish their home opener for the 2023 NFL season.
They torched the Denver Broncos for 70 points and won by 50 in Week 3.
Miami’s masterful performance against the Broncos has them leading the league in every significant statistical category on offense.
A graphic posted on the NFL Network Twitter account shows that the Dolphins’ offense leads the league in points per game (43.3), total yards per game (550.3), passing yards per game (362), rushing yards per game (188.3), and red zone touchdown percentage (78.6) after Week 3.

That’s what a 70-point game does for your statistics.
The Dolphins scored ten touchdowns, split evenly between rushing and passing scores.
They gained 726 total yards on 71 plays, giving them a 10.2 yards-per-play average.
De’Von Achane benefitted the most from their explosive attack with 233 total yards (203 rushing) and four touchdowns.
Raheem Mostert had three rushing touchdowns, while Tyreek Hill had 157 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This performance has Tua Tagovailoa being the frontrunner for the NFL Most Valuable Player award.
However, it’s not every week that a team scores 70 points.
It had only been done three other times throughout NFL history.
The Dolphins will face a tough next challenge in the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 as the Bills defense will look to slow down this high-flying Miami offense.
