The Cleveland Cavaliers had one memorable win vs. the Boston Celtics, coming back from a big deficit late in the fourth quarter.
Notably, Grant Williams had the ultimate chance to win the game with two potential game-winning free throws.
Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell reached out to Williams before the free throws, to which Williams responded with some now-infamous trash-talking.
Williams told Mitchell he was going to make them both, getting in his face and repeating it as he walked away.
As you may know by now, Williams wound up missing both free throws, and the Cavs won the game in overtime.
That’s why Williams had no choice but to address the situation in his recent appearance on the Tidal League, but at least he took it with a sense of humor.
“Imma make both!” – Grant Williams

Williams still doesn’t know how he missed both of those free throws, considering he’s actually quite an efficient shooter from the charity stripe.
He claims he missed six straight free throws after that, stating that it was something like a mental block.
He also hilariously admitted that referee Tony Brothers told him not to be mad at him after the Celtics lost the game.
Truth be told, it’s easy to blame Williams for missing those free throws and the loss.
Then again, the Celtics had that game pretty much under control for the most part, and — just like in the playoffs — they let the lead slip right through their fingers.
It’s a team sport at the end of the day.
