The New York Jets were selected to appear on ‘Hard Knocks’ this season, despite not initially wanting to.
This documentary has provided countless sound bites and instant classics, including a recent preseason game encounter.
In a clip that has gone viral, Aaron Rodgers was pushed back by a member of the New York Giants after a play was over.
After a few words were exchanged, including Rodgers saying he didn’t know who the player was, both sides moved on.
Rodgers quickly responded to these words with a touchdown pass, letting his play do the talking.
While this clip seemed very pro-Rodgers, Jihad Ward recently expressed the other side of this video.
In an interview with Jordan Raanan shared via Pro Football Talk, Ward said, “They weren’t even in the whole scenario of what went down.”

Ward believes ‘Hard Knocks’ did a poor job of displaying this performance.
He discussed that he was upset that Rodgers and Randall Cobb were laughing about a blindside block on a Giants safety in the huddle.
Ward’s move, in his eyes, was retaliation for what had happened prior.
Ultimately, Ward discussed his understanding of what this show tries to do.
‘Hard Knocks’ is a form of entertainment, a show about the Jets’ hopeful path to success for the 2023 season.
Ward believes the next time the Giants and Jets face off, their play will do the talking.
These two teams are slated to play again on October 29th, a game that is sure to provide lots of fireworks and drama if Ward’s comments are any indication.
