The San Francisco Giants seem to consistently come up short in free agency.
Over the last few years, the Giants have struggled to land the top free agents.
Despite being interested in players like Aaron Judge and Carlos Correa in recent years, the Giants could not lock in those deals.
The Giants are still looking for ways to improve their roster each offseason.
Looking at what the Los Angeles Dodgers have done, the Giants need to spend money to be in their class.
One of the most recent players they signed is pitcher Jordan Hicks.
According to SFGiants on X, the team has officially signed Hicks and welcomed him to the team.

The Giants picked up Hicks from free agency in hopes they can turn him back into a starting pitcher.
Hicks pitched 65 games last year for the Cardinals and Blue Jays.
Each of his outings came in relief.
Of the 218 games he has pitched in his career, eight of them have come as a starter.
There is no question that Hicks is a reclamation project.
He has all the stuff to be a great pitcher but has not shown the ability to put it together.
He was given a 4-year, $44 million deal to help turn their starting rotation around.
If Hicks cannot do that, this deal may come back poorly on the Giants.
