The San Francisco Giants were not off to a very good start this season.
At the end of April, they found themselves sitting in fourth place in the NL West with an 11-16 record.
But since then, things have changed drastically.
The Giants have been on a roll and now find themselves right in the thick of both the Wild Card and NL West races.
On Saturday, they secured a series win against the NL Central leading Milwaukee Brewers and are now looking for a sweep at American Family Field.
In fact, despite sitting at just two games over .500, only three teams in the National League currently have a better record than them, as was pointed out by analyst Ben Kaspick on Twitter.
Currently, there are only three (3) teams in the National League that have a better record than the Giants: Dodgers, Braves, D-backs.

The only three teams in the National League with better records than the Giants are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
San Francisco is 27-25 and currently holds the second Wild Card spot in the National League.
They also are just 4.5 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West.
Needless to say, things are getting interesting as we close out the month of May.
While we have a ways to go before the postseason starts, it’s worth noting that the Giants have overcome a dreadful start and are now right in the thick of the race.
They missed out on signing Aaron Judge and Carlos Correa, but are receiving key contributions from their stars as they look to reach the postseason for the second time in three years.
