On Sunday, the new superstar duo for the Milwaukee Bucks made their debut together on the basketball floor, with everyone getting a look at superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard for the first time as teammates.
The Bucks went head-to-head with the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena, and although LeBron James didn’t suit up for this game, it was a spectacle nonetheless, with the league getting a look at what could be the league’s new best superstar duo.
Obviously, the Bucks weren’t looking to play their two superstars that much in a meaningless preseason game, with Antetokounmpo playing 15 minutes and Lillard logging 22 minutes, but it was interesting to see what these two will look like as teammates moving forward.
Along with getting a peek at the new dynamic duo for Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo couldn’t help but take a shot at his former Bucks teammate Christian Wood, who now plays for the Lakers.
Antetokounmpo blocked Wood during the game on Sunday, and someone got a great picture of it, which they posted on the NBA’s social media account, and he decided to tag his old teammate, via Bleacher Report.

Wood was one of the key additions to the Lakers roster this summer, as he chose to sign for much less than what he could’ve gotten elsewhere in order to make Los Angeles one of the deepest teams in the league with a shot at contending for a title.
As for how he reacts to this post, it is anyone’s guess, but there’s likely no bad blood between them.
