Giannis Antetokounmpo has given the Milwaukee Bucks some big scares as of late.
First, he suffered a gruesome lower-back injury in the first game of the postseason, and then, he talked about not wanting to sign a contract extension.
The Greek Freak didn’t join the Greek national team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup as he looked to heal and restore his body after a long season that ended in an injury.
That’s why his fans should be thrilled to know that he’s suffered no setbacks at all, as he showed by jokingly posting a pic on Twitter in which it’s more than evident that he can still dunk the basketball.
Man I can still dunk!! We gonna be good 😂 pic.twitter.com/v2F9HIX3ZI

Giannis has never been the kind of player who likes to manage his loads or sit out games, but he must take a bigger-picture approach and think long-term with his body now.
While he’s not an aging player by any means, he’s not getting any younger, and a lingering injury could have a disastrous toll on his career.
As for his future, it seems like the Bucks are pretty much on the clock right now.
He made it clear that he doesn’t plan to sign a contract extension at this moment because it doesn’t make sense, financially speaking.
But he also needs to know that the Bucks are 100% committed to winning more championships while he’s still in his prime; otherwise, he’s heading out the door and taking his talents somewhere else.
