The Milwaukee Bucks are entering a crucial offseason.
The team has a new owner, and he might not be thrilled about the idea of paying steep financial penalties for going over the luxury tax in three consecutive seasons.
They’ve already parted ways with Mike Budenholzer, and the same could go for Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton, assuming they demand a hefty payday.
That has raised questions and speculation about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the organization, and his recent activity on social media didn’t do much to help with that narrative.
In a now-viral clip, it seems like Giannis wouldn’t hate the idea of teaming up with Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors.

Of course, there’s always the chance that Giannis is just messing with people, as he knows the fans are going to talk, especially after posting several cryptic tweets since the end of the season.
He’ll be under contract for years to come, but we’ve seen players forcing their way out of their teams way too often.
The Bucks can choose to pay a lot in luxury tax to keep their current core of aging players, or let them walk and risk not being competitive enough for Giannis to want to stay there for the long run.
Still, even if he wanted to be traded to the Warriors, there would be plenty of hurdles to get by between both teams, so that simply doesn’t seem like a realistic option, at least at this point in time.
