The Milwaukee Bucks have primarily relied on Giannis Antetokounmpo to lead them for several years.
Antetokounmpo fulfilled the expectations by leading the Bucks to the 2021 NBA Championship.
But post the 2021 NBA Championship run, the Bucks have failed to repeat the same level of success in the playoffs.
As a result, the Bucks decided to trade for Damian Lillard and create one of the most anticipated dynamic duos in the entire league.
Although Lillard’s arrival was expected to make the Bucks the best team in the Eastern Conference, the 8x NBA All-Star’s performance has been inconsistent during the 2023-24 NBA season.
Despite that, Lillard recently reached a major milestone in his career while being a member of the Bucks, and Antetokounmpo showed support to his teammate via his official Twitter handle.

Lillard has moved up on the NBA’s all-time 3-pointers made list.
He surpassed Reggie Miller to earn the fourth sport on the illustrious list.
Lillard now has 2,564 3-pointers made in his career as compared to Miller’s 2,560.
Antetokounmpo didn’t have a major reaction to the milestone, but his single emoji tweet was more than enough to show support for Lillard.
The night was bittersweet for Lillard and the Bucks as they were handed a 122-123 defeat by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Lillard played 38 minutes in the game and contributed 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 12 assists to the Bucks.
Unfortunately, the Bucks are struggling with a two-game losing streak after going undefeated since the All-Star break.
