The Milwaukee Bucks are just a half-game behind the number-one seed Miami Heat in the East.

They might not get as many headlines as some of the other teams in the league but they have been consistent for months now and no one should be surprised if they make the NBA Finals again.

And they shouldn’t be surprised if Giannis Antetokounmpo ends up winning Finals MVP yet again.

Antetokounmpo has been having an astonishing season so far and recently broke a major record.

Giannis has passed Kareem as the Bucks all time scorer.

He is now the all-time scorer for the Bucks, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Antetokounmpo is now the first in points, second in rebounds, second in assists, fifth in steals, and first blocks for the team.

Is he the most important Bucks player of all time?

Most likely – he’s also their key to another Finals win.

The Freak In The Finals

Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the league but, surprisingly, he has gotten even better this year.

Not only is he breaking records and putting up monster numbers (30.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game) but he’s playing with even more confidence and efficiency.

There was a time when fans would be nervous about Antetokounmpo taking deep twos or threes and couldn’t rely on him during certain plays.

That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

Antetokounmpo is far more consistent than he’s ever been.

In fact, on Thursday night, the crowd went wild as Antetokounmpo sank a catch-and-shoot three.

The young player was already spectacular and he’s only getting better.

This year’s playoffs will be tough, the competition is fierce.

But the Bucks are playing some incredible basketball and Antetokounmpo is leading the way.
