Even though no one seems to be talking about them, the Milwaukee Bucks have won nine games in a row now.
They’ve now become even better by adding Jae Crowder, one of the best 3-and-D players that were still up for grabs, and a gritty defensive wing.
Khris Middleton has struggled to stay healthy, and Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, and even Giannis Antetokounmpo have missed some time with injuries.
However, they’re still sitting at the second spot in the Eastern Conference and are breathing on the Boston Celtics’ necks.
That’s why Giannis is feeling quite confident about his chances in the upcoming All-Star Game.
So, when asked about what his goal was as team captain, the Greek Freak had a blunt and straightforward answer: He just wants to beat LeBron James:
“My goal is to beat LeBron,” Giannis said. “I’m working my way to the front office, so I gotta do the best job. I cannot be 0-3 against him.”

Giannis added that he’d get some experience by coaching the celebrity game and stated that he could not afford to go 0-3 against LeBron, even if we’re talking about the All-Star Game.
Notably, this year’s format will be even more entertaining, as the Draft will take place shortly before tip-off, so players won’t have time to practice together and will have to figure it all out on the court, just like if they were playing streetball.
This edition will have several players in street clothes due to injury, but there will be no shortage of talent and stars to choose from and put together the best team possible to take down the league’s all-time leading scorer.
Will he pull it off? We’ll have to wait and see.
