The New York Yankees have some of the most impressive sluggers in the game these days.
Aaron Judge, Josh Donaldson, Joey Gallo, Anthony Rizzo, and even Gleyber Torres are capable of hitting 30 or more homers; and DJ LeMahieu and Aaron Hicks can also contribute their fair share.
Their most powerful player, however, is undoubtedly Giancarlo Stanton.
The hulking designated hitter once again showcased his talent to punish the ball on Monday’s spring training game against the Philadelphia Phillies in Tampa.
“One of my favorite atypical baseball things just happened: Giancarlo Stanton hit a ball so hard that it went faster down the line than the YES camera could track it,” Yankees blog Pinstripe Alley tweeted, hilariously, on Monday.

It came with a bonus, too, as they included a video of the play in one of the replays.
The King Of The Hard-Hit Ball In MLB
The ball, in fact, got to the outfield in such a hurry that it’s hard to keep track of it.

Stanton’s main problem in the last couple of years before 2021 were injuries.
He barely played in 2019 and 2020 with a myriad of physical ailments.
But he hit 59 home runs (!) in 2017, his last season with the Marlins, and 38 in 2018, his first season with the Yankees.
He was able to stay healthy for the most part in 2021, and hit 35 dingers.
If he can play at least 140 games in 2022, Stanton hitting at least 35 round-trippers is money in the bank.
He is the owner of the hardest-hit ball in the Statcast era (since 2015), at 122.5 mph.
He is truly a joy to watch, and remains a highly productive player in an explosive lineup.
The show, with Stanton, is guaranteed.
