The Pittsburgh Steelers have a very promising wide receiver in their ranks right now.
George Pickens has shown glimpses of greatness, and he will continue to be trusted with their WR1 role for the time being.
With that in mind, the Georgia standout was asked to share his ranking of the top five greatest wide receivers of all time (via Dov Kleiman), and his ranking was somewhat surprising.
He had Michael Crabtree at No. 5, followed by Julio Jones, Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Calvin Johnson.

Needless to say, with all due respect to Crabtree, not many people would’ve put him in the top five of all time, but to each his own, and there will be as many rankings as there are football fans out there.
Pickens has the physical abilities to be one of the best wideouts in the game.
Unfortunately, he has yet to break out, and while subpar quarterback play has had something to do with that, there have also been concerns about his maturity and demeanor.
The Steelers’ quarterback position has a big question mark right now.
D.K. Metcalf should open up the field for Arthur Smith’s offense, and that can translate into some wide-open looks for Pickens.
The Steelers could have two massive vertical threats for Aaron Rodgers or whoever is behind center next season.
That will also be a major test to determine whether Pickens is an alpha wide receiver, as Metcalf is also more than capable of being the leading pass-catcher on the team.
