After acquiring superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets put tremendous pressure on their franchise to be a winner and a Super Bowl title contender right away.
An elite quarterback has been the missing piece in New York for quite some time, especially last season when the Jets could’ve arguably done a lot more if they had some stability at the position, with Zach Wilson clearly not the right answer under center.
With Rodgers in the fold and motivated to win the second title of his Hall-of-Fame-caliber career in the NFL, there will be high expectations for the Jets moving forward, and it appears second-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson is embracing those expectations.
Wilson knows that his team will be under the microscope this season and declared the goal is to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy in February, via SNY.

Wilson was one of the lone bright spots for the Jets last season, as he was able to have an incredible rookie season as a wide receiver on a team with the weakest position being at quarterback.
In 17 games last season, Wilson caught 83 passes for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns, which is remarkable considering the situation in New York in 2022.
With Rodgers now taking the snaps in New York, Wilson is bound to see his numbers skyrocket as he could quickly become the favorite target of the four-time NFL MVP as he tries to get this team to title-contending status in 2023.NEXT: Sauce Gardner Gets Big Honor In PFF's 2023 Ranking
