We all miss baseball, and we all miss MLB.
By now, we have spent more than 70 days without baseball, and we are a little sad because of that.
However, we have kept ourselves entertained with the flurry of moves in recent weeks, and following every team’s plans and approaches towards the 2023 campaign.
Fortunately, enough of the offseason has already passed to say that we are in some sort of a halfway point from the end of the World Series to the start of the new campaign.
“Days since the end of the World Series: 73. Days until Opening Day: 72. We’re getting there folks,” MLB Metrics tweeted.

A few positives to get through the week: first, spring training is just a few weeks away, and once the spring is here and we have all the squads preparing for the start of the season, everything becomes easier and shorter.
And two, the World Baseball Classic is just 50 days away.
That’s right: from March 8 to March 21, 20 countries will vie for the right to be called winners and champions.
The United States, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and Cuba look to be a tier above the rest.
There are plenty of things to look forward to this year in baseball, and we are all excited to live and enjoy them one by one.
The start of the MLB season will be right around the corner when the WBC ends.
The Houston Astros will be looking to defend their title, but several contenders have brought in elite reinforcements and are ready to challenge for the trophy.
