Last night, New York Mets manager Buck Showalter was crowned the National League Manager of the Year.
His star shortstop Francisco Lindor couldn’t have been prouder of him.
Lindor and his family were watching the award show on MLB Network from their home on Tuesday night.
When they received the news, there was nothing but excitement and happiness around the Lindor household.
Lindor himself took a video of the moment it was announced and focused the camera on his adorable daughter.
As his wife could be heard cheering in the background, Lindor instructed his daughter to do a happy dance, which she proceeded to do, clapping her hands for her dad’s manager.

Happy Dance!
Showalter has now earned Manager of the Year honors in four different decades with four different teams.
Lindor’s daughter may not understand that yet, but she was certainly happy that her dad’s manager was given such an incredible honor.
Her happy dance pretty much sums everything up.
But for Lindor and his family, this was even bigger than baseball.
It was about him and his family celebrating Showalter’s accomplishment.
More importantly, it was about his daughter doing a cute and adorable happy dance as she clapped her hands in celebration.
It’s moments like these that make you appreciate the wholesome aspect of sports.
Lindor is certainly proud of his manager and enjoyed playing under him for the first time.
Showalter led the Mets to their first 100+ win season since 1988 and took them to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
