Aaron Rodgers finally got his first win at home as a member of the New York Jets when they defeated the New England Patriots.
He was 27-for-35 for 281 passing yards and two touchdowns, and though it may not have been a truly vintage performance, he did look an awful lot like his old self, prior to his Achilles tear last year.
FOX Sports host Nick Wright admitted that Rodgers was reasonably mobile but also expressed doubt that his play is sustainable over a full NFL season.
“I think that this was the Jets’ easiest game on their schedule. … I don’t think Rodgers can play like that on a week-to-week basis,” Wright said on “First Things First.”

Rodgers suffered an Achilles tear on the Jets’ first offensive series of last season, and it instantly caused all the preseason hype and excitement surrounding the team to sink into the Hudson River.
This season, they are arguably more talented than they were last year, and therefore some have tabbed them as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
After all the bad fortune the Jets have suffered for many decades, the right mindset is likely to take things one day at a time and stack the little wins.
The first was Rodgers getting through Week 1 without getting injured, and the latest was him playing well in a victory at MetLife Stadium.
In Week 4, New York has a very good chance of improving to 3-1 when they host the Denver Broncos.
