Once again, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has helped his team reach the playoffs.
And, once again, people are talking about his status among other legendary NBA stars from history.
Sitting down with Chandler Parsons on FanDuel TV, former Warriors guard Quinn Cook was asked if Curry is the best point guard to ever play in the game.
His answer was clear.
“No disrespect to the guys who did it before… I think he’s the best point guard of all-time if he stopped playing today,” Cook said.

With four championship rings, numerous awards, and the most three-pointers in NBA history, Curry is consistently spoken about as one of the best guards to ever play the game.
Cook knows Curry well, as he played with him for two seasons, including the 2017-18 season when the Warriors won a championship.
He knows the sort of player – and leader – Curry is.
Not only is Curry the greatest three-point shooter the association has ever seen, but he is also a great floor general and is able to make smart plays and communicate well with others.
Those are features that are crucial for successful guards.
Cook mentioned that Curry has already won four Finals and is fighting hard right now to claim his fifth.
If he is able to do that despite the rough season his team has had and the competition in the West, Cook believes that Curry’s place in history will be solidified.
Even those who criticize Curry would have a hard time denying his greatness if he can push his team to the Finals yet again.
History will decide if Curry is the best point guard of all time but this season will decide if he’s a five-time champion.
