It seems axiomatic that when a pro athlete retires, they try their hand at one of two things: playing golf or being a broadcaster.
Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback whom most consider the greatest player in NFL history, has signed on to be a commentator for FOX’s telecasts of NFL games.
Joining him on the network will be Mark Ingram, the former running back who played for three different teams, most notably the New Orleans Saints.
He will be an analyst during the “Big Noon Kickoff” college football pregame show, and he will work with Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Urban Meyer, and Rob Stone.

Ingram was the No. 28 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Saints not long after they won their first Super Bowl championship.
While at the University of Alabama, he won the Heisman Trophy and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year award while running for double-digit touchdowns in each of his three seasons there.
Ingram played his first eight pro seasons with the Saints, and during that time he surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark twice and was named to the Pro Bowl twice.
He moved on to the Baltimore Ravens for the 2019 season, where he made the Pro Bowl for a third time while running for 1,018 yards and 10 touchdowns.
That was the year Lamar Jackson won the regular-season MVP award, and thanks to him and Ingram, they went 14-2, although they lost by a wide margin in the divisional round of the playoffs to the Tennessee Titans.
Ingram returned to New Orleans during the 2021 season, allowing him to end his career with the team.
