At this point, no one can argue that Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.
He might even be the best dual-threat quarterback we’ve ever seen.
He’s already a first-ballot Hall of Famer before even turning 30 years old.
However, that’s also why he must win.
More than that, former NFL star James Jones believes that not making the Super Bowl will be a waste of a season for Jackson.
Talking on FOX’s “The Facility,” Jones argued that, from now on, every single time that Jackson doesn’t reach the biggest stage, it will just be a waste.

He believes that if he doesn’t win or even make it to the big game, people won’t care about his accolades or all the numbers and things he’s accomplished.
They will only talk about how he can’t win in the playoffs, how other quarterbacks can do more with less, and how you can’t win a Super Bowl with a mobile quarterback.
Jones is right on point with those statements, as unfair or harsh as they might sound.
The Ravens have one of the best teams in the league, and Jackson might be on his way to winning his second consecutive MVP.
He’s also one of just two unanimous MVPs in NFL history, Tom Brady being the other.
That kind of talent gives you even more responsibility, and after watching him dominate in the regular season, it’s time he does the same in a win-or-go-home situation once and for all.
