The Dallas Cowboys could’ve fared better this season.
They were on the brink of being a legitimate contender, but, like all teams, they had some flaws.
Instead of addressing those flaws, they doubled down on their coaching staff, let critical players go, and made little effort to replace them.
That’s why seeing them struggling right now is not a surprise.
With that in mind, Mike Greenberg and Tedy Buschi have a potential solution to their struggles, and while the fans may not want to hear it, it could make some sense.
Talking on ESPN’s NFL Countdown, they both made a case for them to trade Micah Parsons in the offseason.

They compared it to when they moved on from a star like Herschel Walker and ended up winning three Super Bowls with the reinforcements and assets they got in return for his services.
Parsons is a very good player and perhaps the most dynamic guy at his position.
He can excel as a linebacker or an EDGE rusher, and he’s just scratching the surface of his potential.
Then again, the Cowboys don’t have the draft capital they need to replenish their roster and become legitimate contenders again, and they could recoup that kind of capital by parting ways with him.
Also, on a non-football-related note, Parsons likes to talk a lot, and while that fits Jerry Jones’ style, multiple reports from earlier in the season claimed that he was rubbing some people the wrong way in Arlington.
