The New York Jets made a surprising move this week by cutting Dalvin Cook.
Cook was signed to the team before the 2023 season, but with Breece Hall fully healthy, no prominent role was available.
After seeing how he was utilized on the Jets, Cook can sign with any team he’d like, hoping to join a playoff roster.
Willie Colon discussed potential landing spots for Cook on The Carton Show, saying, “If I’m the Cleveland Browns, you sign him today.”

The Browns have dealt with injuries at the position all season.
They lost Nick Chubb early on due to a season-ending injury, and Kareem Hunt has also caught the injury bug.
This has led Jerome Ford to lead the backfield without a suitable backup, leaving him to take on the bulk of the Browns’ rushing work.
Cook would fill a pressing need on this roster and provide much-needed veteran experience.
The Browns have already clinched their spot in the playoffs, and are locked into the five seed.
If they sign Cook, they will have plenty of time to get him acclimated to the team ahead of their playoff game.
They could sign him in the next few days, and while he wouldn’t be likely to play in their Week 18 game, he would have over a week to prepare with his new team, getting acclimated with the Browns’ system.
Playoff teams will likely scramble to set up meetings with Cook.
If the Browns want to sign him, they’ll have to act fast, hoping to get ahead of the game and take him away from their playoff competitors.
