NFL fans have been looking forward to the 2024 draft class for quite some time.
Plenty of players at various positions in the class are highly touted, and quarterback is viewed as one of, if not the best of the bunch.
Caleb Williams has been viewed as the top prospect among his peers over the past several months.
While this might be true in many analyst’s eyes, David Carr doesn’t think he is a good match for the Chicago Bears, who currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
Carr said, “I really don’t like the fit” in a recent segment of NFL Total Access.

In fact, Carr indicated that Jayden Daniels might be a better QB to fit this system than Williams.
Daniels’ draft stock has been all over the place since the NCAA season ended.
While he is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, there is some skepticism about his ability to play at a high level in the NFL.
Some believe he is at the same level or better than Williams, while others think he is maybe a top-five prospect at the position.
Regardless of what analysts think, the Bears ultimately have the final say in which player they like the best.
They haven’t necessarily decided if they are going to take a QB, but signs are pointing to that, at least at this point in the process.
If they do pick a quarterback to replace Justin Fields, it will be interesting to see if they go with a player in a similar mold, like Daniels, or if they go with a more traditional option in Williams.
