Because they are doing so poorly, the Golden State Warriors will have a lot to think about before this week’s NBA trade deadline.
One of the things they need to consider is their future with guard Chris Paul.
Paul has only been with the team since the start of the season but there is a very good chance he moves to another franchise this week.
Speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Brian Scalabrine said that the Warriors should think about trading Paul for Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando Magic.

There are reports that say the Magic are interested in both Paul of the Warriors and Kyle Lowry.
It’s clear that they are thinking of adding some experience to their team in the form of a veteran point guard.
Paul is a supremely talented player who has earned a career average of 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists.
This season, he’s been only producing 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists and has experienced injuries.
Because of that, he has only played in 32 games this season.
Isaac is no stranger to injuries either and missed two whole seasons because of damage to his ACL.
He only played in 11 games last season and has also missed some this season too.
Injuries aside, Isaac could improve the Warriors’ frontcourt but they’d likely have to make other changes as well.
This is definitely just one of many options Golden State’s front office will think about over the next few days.
The team had high hopes for Paul when he came to the Warriors in the summer but it seems like he will probably be on the move soon.
It just remains to be seen who Golden State will get in return for him.
