The Minnesota Vikings lost their starting quarterback.
Kirk Cousins decided to test the free agent market and signed a huge deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
He was a fan favorite in the Twin Cities, but he didn’t do much to help his team in the end.
He refused to waive his no-trade clause last season because he wanted to stay in Minnesota, so his team essentially lost him with nothing in return.
Considering that, former NFL QB Chase Daniel also believes the Falcons are getting a bona fide player.
“Kirk is one of those 10 guys in my opinion that can play at a high level,” Daniel said.

Talking on The Dan Patrick Show, Daniel went as far as to call Cousins a top-10 quarterback in the league.
That was most definitely a stretch, especially if you consider the fact that Cousins has a 1-4 career record in the postseason.
Cousins is perhaps the most overpaid quarterback in NFL history if you take a look at his accolades.
On the other hand, he should be a significant upgrade for a Falcons team that has struggled with one of the least impressive quarterback rooms in the league for years now.
The Falcons have plenty of talented players on offense that will get a considerable boost from Cousins being there, and they should instantly be the favorites to win the NFC South Division.
Now, whether that’s going to translate into postseason success remains to be seen.
As for the Vikings, they might be running out of options to replace Cousins at quarterback, and whoever they want might not be available for them in the NFL Draft.

You sound as butt hurt as RG III. I would remind you of RG III’s jealousy for not getting but 1/10th of Kirk’s 300 million in career contracts. I can only imagine you won’t get 1/10 of RG IIIs income either. The line between very good at QB and great is pretty small but very good gets you paid.
