Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is as loyal as they come in the NBA, with the two-time NBA MVP sticking by the Milwaukee Bucks ever since he was drafted by the team in 2013.
However, that stance could change quickly in the years to come, especially after Antetokounmpo’s recent interview, where he entertained the idea of leaving the Bucks and playing for another team if he believes his teammates aren’t on the same page in terms of having a championship mindset.
With Antetokounmpo letting it be known that he’s open to leaving the Bucks in the near future, NBA teams will start lining up and figuring out ways to bring in the one-time champion.
The Bucks will hold out hope that they can keep Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee by keeping the roster competitive, but some, namely former NBA star Evan Turner, don’t seem to believe that players will come to Wisconsin for any reason, via NBA Central.

Needless to say, the clock has started for the Bucks, as the Milwaukee franchise will need to do everything within its power to keep their superstar happy and motivated to win another title.
However, if the Bucks begin to struggle next season, things might start to get a bit ugly in Milwaukee, as it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that trade rumors start swirling, creating some tension for the franchise moving forward.
It’ll be interesting to see how this situation pans out and whether Antetokounmpo’s future is in Milwaukee or with another team like the New York Knicks that would love to bring in a player of his caliber to build a contender around.
