It’s a new era for the New England Patriots, with the once-dominant franchise looking much different than it used to under legendary head coach Bill Belichick.
Even though Belichick is still calling the shots for the storied franchise in New England, superstar quarterback Tom Brady is no longer under center, and the roster looks completely different from when this team was winning Super Bowls seemingly on an annual basis.
Along with Brady relaxing in retirement on a beach somewhere, one of his favorite targets downfield is embarking on a new career now that his playing days are officially over.
According to Ari Meirov, former Patriots star wide receiver Julian Edelman has signed a deal with FOX Sports to become an analyst.

Edelman hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2020 season and seems to have been kicking around the idea of going into broadcasting and or media of some sort over the last few years, as he’s made many appearances on shows and podcasts.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has the perfect personality to be in front of the camera and should do well when given his shot during the upcoming 2023 NFL season.
It’ll be interesting to see if the former Patriots star can become the next big thing on television in the football space and whether that results in a bigger opportunity down the road, as it seems that former athletes have a lot of success these days making the transition from the field to shows talking about the sport they love.
