The last few seasons haven’t ended well for the Baltimore Ravens, with the team failing to live up to expectations and making people wonder if this franchise can win it all with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson under center.
After a stressful NFL offseason involving a trade demand and a difficult contract negotiation process, Jackson is back in the fold with the Ravens for the next five years, as he’s inked a lucrative extension that will keep him in Baltimore.
Along with finally being able to sign Jackson to an extension, the Ravens also made some solid offseason moves to surround their superstar quarterback with more talent.
Baltimore brought in superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and selected one of the best receiver prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft in Zay Flowers, which adds to possibly one of the top receiving corps in the league.
According to former NFL star LeSean McCoy, in order to live up to expectations following the signing of his contract extension, Jackson has to at least make it to the AFC Championship Game via Speak on FS1.

With the AFC being as stacked as ever, with most of the Super Bowl title contenders in the conference, it will be no easy task for Jackson to lead the Ravens to the AFC Championship Game.
The Ravens will have their work cut out for them in the conference and the AFC North division, with the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers always posing a threat and the Cleveland Browns possibly turning things around with Deshaun Watson potentially back to form.
It’ll be an interesting ride, to say the least, for Jackson and the Ravens in 2023.
