Russell Wilson’s first few seasons with the Denver Broncos haven’t necessarily yielded the results the team was expecting.
After trading away a good chunk of their future to acquire the veteran QB, the Broncos still do not look like a team that’s ready to compete for a Super Bowl title.
With this in mind, many have suggested that the Broncos could move on from Wilson if a willing team wants to take a chance on him.
Mike Tannenbaum recently appeared on “Get Up” to discuss this situation, providing an interesting take.
Tannenbaum suggested that he would like Wilson to play for the New York Jets, a comment that turned the heads of his colleagues.

Tannenbaum indicated that Wilson has to “resurrect” his NFL career, and being on the Jets could be a way for him to do that.
He believes the team could sign him for $1 million, a small “prove it” deal for one season.
If he has any opportunity to play with Aaron Rodgers being injured, this could be a chance for Wilson to bring himself back to relevancy.
The former MVP candidate has had a steep fall from grace, and there aren’t many ways he could get back into good standing in the league.
Many are already under the impression that he will never have a dominant season again, which is exactly why Tannenbaum is making this Jets suggestion.
It might seem unorthodox, but if Wilson is truly desperate, this could be one of his only good options.
