The Dallas Mavericks started off the season hot, but the organization has seemingly lost it’s way throughout the course of the campaign.
Despite having the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving on the roster, the Mavericks are still the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Doncic is having another spectacular individual season as far as his numbers are concerned.
However, Doncic’s performances aren’t translating into a lot of victories for the Mavericks.
Keeping that in mind, former NBA player Chandler Parsons recently shared his views on why Luka Doncic’s playing style is exhausting for his teammates via Run It Back.
“I think he’s is an unbelievable talent, he’s literally a guard version of [Nikola] Jokic, where he can do anything…But as a teammate, it’s a little exhausting watching the same s*** over and over again,” Parsons said.

Parsons did admit that Luka Doncic is an extremely talented player.
So much so that the former NBA player labeled him as the guard version of 2x NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.
But at the same time, Parsons believes that the way that Luka Doncic plays is exhausting for his teammates.
This can certainly be due to the iso-style of basketball that Doncic plays.
At the end of the day, Doncic is averaging a solid 34.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game for the Dallas Mavericks.
One would assume a superstar who is averaging nearly a triple-double in each game would have his team among the top in the conference.
Unfortunately, the Mavericks have a 35-38 record.
