It’s not certain what is next for James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers.
His team had a very strong regular season, although they again fell short in the playoffs.
They are going through big changes with head coach Doc Rivers already relieved of duty.
But Harden could be the next one headed to the exit, as endless rumors say he wants to leave Philly to again play for the Houston Rockets.
Former NBA star Tony Allen sat down with Kevin Garnett for Showtime Basketball and gave advice to Harden.
“I think it’s really time to stay with that team…It can’t be about the money this time,” Allen said.

There are numerous Philadelphia fans pleading with Harden to remain with the Sixers in hopes that they can continue to build and possibly make the NBA Finals next season.
Harden would definitely be better positioned to win a championship ring if he stuck around in Philadelphia.
But that doesn’t mean he will.
Although Allen said that Harden should remain loyal to the 76ers instead of seeking a better deal with the Rockets, it might not be about money for Harden.
Inside reports have suggested that he wishes to be on a team that respects him and allows him to play as he wants.
He has had to adjust his game while in Philadelphia, essentially performing as Joel Embiid’s right-hand man.
If he were back in Houston, he’d be able to lead the team and play as he desires.
For Harden, it might not be about championships or even a better salary.
He might just want to play basketball his own way.
