Nick Young was an NBA star who was often known more for his off-court comments and personality than his production on the court.
Years after leaving the league, he is still raising eyebrows with the things that he says.
Young turned heads on Wednesday when he posted a fairly simple – yet controversial – tweet.
“I created Paul George game,” Young claimed.
With just a few short words, Young is taking credit for George’s skill.

Young tweeted about George again later but that post was a bit harder to understand.
However, it is clear that the man they call “Swaggy P” thinks he’s responsible for PG’s skills.
We don’t know what caused Young to write this.
For those who have been following Young since he joined the NBA back in 2007, this tweet isn’t that surprising.
He was always outspoken and lively, for better or for worse.
Young got his start with the Washington Wizards in the 2007-08 season.
He received way more attention when he arrived with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The team was in transition at that time as it neared the end of Kobe Bryant’s reign and looked to the future.
Young and several other stars were hoping to be the face of the franchise moving forward.
In the end, he stayed with the Lakers for four seasons and then became a free agent and went to the Golden State Warriors and briefly the Denver Nuggets.
Although Young and George crossed paths many times during his career, they didn’t seem to have bad blood so George is likely surprised by this comment.
