Tatis Loses An Endorsement
This is not good for Tatis.
But if you really think about it, it’s clear that he did this to himself.
It all started with the bike incident where he injured his wrist.
Now, he faces a suspension, and when asked to clarify what happened, he made an excuse and refused to take any responsibility.
Tatis still is a very exciting player and he’ll help the Padres tremendously when he returns next season.
But for now, the shortstop has to sit with the consequences of his actions, which includes losing his partnership with Adidas.
It’s been a frustrating situation for the Padres all season long.
Even a few weeks after the suspension began, they still have to deal with the controversy and the drama surrounding the situation, and everyone knows that there’s plenty of that.
It’s a shame to see Tatis fall from grace like this.
Once one of the most exciting and marketable players in the game, he now is the cautionary tale.
He’ll have to regain the trust of his teammates, the fans, and the Padres organization.
