Coming into these NBA playoffs, the Milwaukee Bucks were thought to be the team to beat after Giannis Antetokounmpo and company dominated the competition during the regular season leading to the best record in the league.
After the Play-in Tournament, the top-seeded Bucks were matched up with the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.
Despite Miami’s experience in the postseason, the Heat weren’t considered much of a threat to the Bucks in a seven-game series, but that didn’t turn out to be the case with star forward Jimmy Butler taking his game to another level and Antetokoumpo dealing with a back injury.
Ultimately, Milwaukee could only secure one win against Miami before being eliminated and sent home early.
With Antetokounmpo receiving a fair amount of criticism since being knocked out of the playoffs, the Bucks superstar has had enough and took to Twitter to put the league on notice for next season.

Here are some fan reactions to Antetokounmpo’s tweet about being disrespected:
Those who disrespect you do not know the efforts and the concessions that must be made to always be on top ! You are a huge Champion 🏆 and you are competitive and dominant every season, which brings you into a very small club…

Shortly after the Bucks were officially eliminated, the team decided to part ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer, which alters the franchise’s direction.
The Bucks aren’t rushing to hire a new head coach, with the team willing to take some time to find Budenholzer’s successor in Milwaukee.
As for Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP has all offseason to think about the team’s shortcomings and what he can do to right the ship next season.
Besides bringing in a new head coach, it’ll be interesting to see what other moves the team makes to improve the squad moving forward.
