The Miami Dolphins think they have their franchise quarterback of the future in Tua Tagovailoa.
But, some recent injuries have caused his NFL career to become murky.
Last season, Tua suffered two concussions and missed four regular-season games because of it.
He was also unable to play in their one playoff game.
Concussions are one of the toughest injuries to deal with in the NFL and they can have long-term effects.
That is one of the reasons why Tagovailoa considered moving on from football.
According to Cameron Wolfe, Tua discussed the idea of retiring from football after the season.
Tua Tagovailoa says he discussed the idea of retiring from football after the season with family but he decided to keep playing. He says this is his health and life. He thinks this is what’s best for him & his family. pic.twitter.com/6LfHd1RxwA

Tagovailoa is only 25 years old, and he still has his whole football career ahead of him.
But even coming out of college, one of the major concerns with Tua was his health.
He is only 6-foot-1 and 216 pounds, and his body has not been able to hold up to the consistent punishment.
Many people think he is continuing to play because of the money.
Definitely loves the money more.

But nothing he has said or done supports that claim.
Maybe he loves the game and is not ready to walk away at such a young age.
Tua didn't say anything about money. He said he loves the game. People should stop spinning this and accept what he said as the truth.

Many fans are trying to tell him that he should no longer play, but it is not their decision to make.
Bunch of people in the comments trying to tell somebody else how to live their life.

Now that Tagovailoa is going to continue playing, both he and the Dolphins need to take steps to keep him healthy.
One is making sure he is not taking any unnecessary hits.
Also, the Dolphins should continue to invest in their offensive line, to ensure Tua is not getting hit in the pocket.
Miami, keep this man safe. Definitely want to see him walk away from retirement health and stable https://t.co/muhnLXQHN7

Tagovailoa has the potential to be a very good NFL quarterback, he just needs to stay on the field to do so.
