Perhaps the most shocking thing to happen during these NBA playoffs is the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks getting knocked out of the postseason by the No. 8 seed Miami Heat in the first round in five games.
The Heat was determined to make some noise during the playoffs and did just that, as Jimmy Butler and company will now play for a chance to make it to the NBA Finals against either the Philadelphia 76ers or the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
As for the Bucks, the franchise is starting from scratch at head coach, with the team recently parting ways with Mike Budenholzer.
Milwaukee has now become arguably the most attractive coaching vacancy in the NBA, with all the big names available starting to get attached as potential candidates for the Bucks.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, one surprising candidate for Milwaukee is Mark Jackson, who hasn’t coached in the NBA since his time with the Golden State Warriors in 2014.
The Milwaukee Bucks are interviewing former Golden State coach Mark Jackson for their open head coaching job, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Jackson, who had a .526 winning percentage in three seasons as Warriors coach, was a finalist for the Kings job last year.

There’s a reason Jackson hasn’t found another coaching job in the NBA for nearly a decade.
The Warriors made the smart move to get rid of him in favor of Steve Kerr, resulting in four NBA titles over the past decade, which isn’t a great look for Jackson.
However, Jackson was a finalist for the Sacramento Kings job last year, which ultimately went to Mike Brown, who turned around the franchise and won the NBA Coach of the Year.
Only time will tell if Jackson is a serious candidate, as Milwaukee may have just begun its search for Budenholzer’s successor.
