The Brooklyn Nets are officially in the hunt for a new coach.
In a shocking turn of events, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the team dismissed Coach Jacque Vaughn from his duties early on Monday.
Needless to say, this led to countless reactions on social media, both good and bad.
The Brooklyn Nets liked having 4 days away from Jacque Vaughn so much they said take a hike for good

Is this the Nets actually making a move caring about the team… whatttt?!?!

Well deserved. This team was 13-10 and now they are 21-33. Couldn’t battle through any adversity all year.

Vaughn was in the midst of his second season in charge of the team, and he compiled a 64-65 record in the final couple of seasons.
He had already been an interim coach for the team before serving as an assistant coach.
Vaughn’s tenure with the organization got off to a solid start, and he seemed to have the trust and respect of his players.
However, as soon as they lost Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the team started free-falling.
He wasn’t able to get things right, with the Nets boasting a 21-33 record and sitting in the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference.
Mikal Bridges is a solid two-way player and he could be a legitimate No. 2 option in a great team, but he might not be what this team needs to get over the hump.
In hindsight, the Durant-Irving era only set this franchise back even further.
