Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards promised the fans that they weren’t done just yet, and he delivered.
The former first-overall pick had one of the best games of his young career, putting his team on his shoulders to lead them to an overtime win.

Edwards and the Timberwolves avoided being swept and managed to live for at least another day, and the fans on Twitter had several hilarious reactions to this.
🏀💪🏼🔥 Ant is playing like a true number one pick! And to think he's just 21 years old… Barely legal drinking age, huh? 🍻😉

Nikola Jokic thrived with 43 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two steals, orchestrating a fourth-quarter rally to get his team back in the game.
But Edwards was by far the best player on the court, scoring 34 points with six boards, five dimes, two steals, three blocks, and five three-pointers in the win.
Now, the Timberwolves will need a somewhat better effort from Karl-Anthony Towns if they intend to try and make history by coming back from this 0-3 deficit.
The Kentucky product was unimpressive, with just 17 points and 11 rebounds, taking just nine shots and fouling out after 36 minutes of play.
Towns has drawn plenty of criticism and mockery on social media for his underperformance in these types of games, so it’s nice to see that the Timberwolves finally got a closer and cold-blooded kind of guy in Edwards.
The No. 1 seeded Denver Nuggets will head back home to regroup and close things out in Game 5 on Tuesday, so Edwards will once again have to be at his finest to extend his team’s season for at least an extra couple of days.
