To say that the Houston Texans have had a couple of tough years could be a bit of an understatement.
The team has struggled to stay afloat, but bringing in DeMeco Ryans as their new Head Coach was a beacon of hope.
That’s why the fans were rather worried when the team decided to post a somewhat motivational and slightly bizarre message pretty much out of the blue, especially with the NFL Draft just around the corner.
The message goes as follows:
“Failure is not an option; it’s a necessity.
Every mistake is a lesson learned.
Every setback a chance to grow stronger.
Embrace the struggle and become unstoppable.”
Of course, fans were left wondering what the team meant by posting this, and the responses weren’t exactly optimistic.

Texans – “How can we justify tanking for Caleb?”
“How bout some inspirational quotes to make it look like we have a proper plan”

What kind of tweet is this, right before the draft? There’s a time and place for everything. Now’s not the time for this tweet

The Texans have kept tight lips when discussing their plans for April 27.
Some believe they’re just going to take a QB with that No. 2 pick, while others believe they could be leaning towards revamping their defense.
Whatever the case, failure is the last thing their fans want to know or think about right now.
They have the ultimate chance to turn their franchise around once and for all and start competing at the highest level, so failure isn’t much of an option.
But who knows? Maybe this was an old post that got caught up in their drafts, and their PR intern just wanted to get some content out today.
Or maybe they’re just messing with all of us ahead of the draft.
