The Golden State Warriors were in desperate need of a hero, and Stephen Curry answered the call, as he usually does.
The sharpshooting star put on a show at home during his team’s must-win matchup with the Sacramento Kings, torching them for 36 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and six three-pointers on 48% from the floor, and 50% from beyond the arc.

Curry has cemented himself among the league’s all-time greats, and he always seems to rise to the occasion when he’s questioned the most.
The Warriors entered Thursday night’s contest with a -25 point differential in the 18 minutes Curry had been off the court in the first two games of the series.
He’s not getting any younger, so asking him to be on the floor for 45+ minutes at this point in his career might not be realistic, especially in the early stages of the playoffs with three potential series also ahead of him.
But Kerr and Curry will need to find a way to keep him on the court as often as possible, as De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell have had no answer for him through the first three games of the series.
The Dubs will look to even things up on Sunday with Draymond Green back in the lineup, and you better believe Chef Curry will be more than ready to cook again.
