The NFL Draft very rarely goes as planned.
Some players happen to fall a lot further in the draft than many experts predict.
That happened with Kentucky quarterback Will Levis.
He was projected by many in the first round, yet he is still on the board as we start day two.
One team that could make a bold pick is the Indianapolis Colts.
Their owner Jim Irsay floated the idea that his team could select Levis with their fourth pick of the second round.
Colts Fans…would you take Will Levis at #2 if you’re on the board for Colts in 4 hours from now???🏈🏈🏈… and go Montana – Young for Franchise??

After selecting Anthony Richardson No. 4 overall, it would make no sense for them to take Levis.
Richardson is the quarterback of their future, and he has everything you look for in a future star.
But, he will need plenty of time to develop.
Most fans believe Irsay is joking with this tweet, but you never know what he is thinking.

Richardson does have the athleticism to run the ball and be effective with his legs.
That is a big part of his game, and part of the reason why he was drafted so high.
Some people are confused why the Colts owner would even ask the fans who to pick.

Irsay mentioned having a quarterback room similar to what the San Francisco 49ers had in Joe Montana and Steve Young.
But, those are two Hall-of-Fame quarterbacks.
Also, they were not drafted in the same year.

Some fans even wished the Colts would have taken Richardson over Levis in the first round.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the Colts do at the beginning of the second round.
