The Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as one of the best teams in the NBA this season.
While the trio of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden is primarily responsible for the team’s excellent record in the Western Conference, Russell Westbrook’s contributions as a leader cannot be underestimated.
Speaking of Russell Westbrook, the Clippers fanbase was delivered a blow about the veteran star’s hand injury against the Washington Wizards.
Westbrook fractured his left hand during the matchup, as revealed via ESPN on Twitter.

Most fans posted heartwarming messages for the veteran star to get well soon after his injury.
On the other hand, some fans are worried about who will replace Russell Westbrook’s contributions to the team for the remainder of the season.
One name that has come up in the discussion is none other than Bones Hyland.
Hyland has played just 20 games this season, but he could get more opportunities from head coach Tyronn Lue in Russell Westbrook’s absence.
As for Westbrook, there is no certain timetable set for the former NBA MVP’s return to the team.
Prior to the injury, Westbrook was contributing 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game for the Clippers this season.
Although Westbrook had an early exit from the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Washington Wizards game, they still ended up registering a 140-115 win and improved their season record to 38-20.
