The last few weeks have been pretty painful for the Dallas Mavericks.
Last season, the team surprised everyone by beating the Phoenix Suns in the playoffs and going all the way to the Western Conference Finals.
Right now, they are just 11th in their conference and might miss the postseason entirely.
But fans of the team were smiling on Monday night as their Mavericks took down the Indiana Pacers, partly thanks to the hard work of Luka Doncic.
Doncic, who is still an MVP candidate, created one of the best passes of the season, finding Jaden Hardy across the court as two Pacers players attempted to push him off the court.

The play by Doncic lit the blogosphere up and had people talking about his ability to read the floor and spot his teammates no matter the competition.
Right away, people were calling it one of the best moments of the season.
“Best playmaker in the association,” said Headband Luka on Twitter.

Others commented on the skill of the Slovenian star, saying, “Luka’s unreal.”

One fan joked that Doncic should replace Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys because of his rocket arm and passing ability.

Finally, others were noting that Doncic’s one-of-a-kind assist was like the WWE’s Undertaker rising from the dead in a wrestling match.

This was a vintage Doncic moment and just another reminder of how talented he is.
He is obviously a great scorer but he is much more than just a point-maker and is also a terrific passer too.
You’ll note in the video that the Pacers aren’t even paying attention to Hardy because they are so focused on slowing down Doncic and anyone close to him.
Even the Pacers didn’t think a pass like this was possible – and it cost them dearly.
