The Arizona Cardinals have been one of the most discussed teams in the NFL over the past several weeks.
Not only did they trade out of their position at third overall in the draft, but they traded back into the top six, taking Paris Johnson at No. 6.
As the Cardinals move into the 2023 season with a new offensive piece, another storyline has emerged with quarterback Kyler Murray.
The team has recently posted about Murray’s generous donation of $15,000, which went to a family suffering from loss due to a mass shooting.

Murray is from Texas, and this tragedy hits extra close to home for him.
After the Cardinals posted about Murray’s generous donation, fans expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Murray’s generosity.
Thank you for being such a standup human @K1 . Driving past the Allen Outlets mall today was gut wrenching. This poor family along with the mom in the ICU that lost both of her daughters…it’s horrifying.

From a Pats fan, massive W by Kyler
People need to stop the hate when it comes to stuff like this. Serious tragedy and the man is donating that’s an awesome gesture

When events like this happen, surrounding communities tend to band together, regardless of sports affiliation.
As many fans have pointed out, Murray certainly didn’t need to donate to this cause, but he did so anyway.
Murray has been in the hot seat over the past season, considering that he was injured for a large portion of the 2022 campaign.
While fans have wondered if the Cardinals did the right thing by signing him to a long-term contract, others believe actions like this are certainly a step in the right direction.
This has affected many people thus far, and his donation should impact many others in the future as well.
