Jordan Poole emerged as one of the most important players for the Golden State Warriors during the 2021-22 NBA season.
In fact, without Poole on the roster, the Warriors may not have even won the 2022 NBA Championship.
However, following the championship run, Poole’s relationship with the Warriors began to deteriorate primarily due to his altercation with Draymond Green.
After playing in a tense environment for a season, Poole was ultimately traded to the Washington Wizards before the start of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Many expected Poole to become a superstar considering he will finally get a chance to be the primary scorer on an NBA team, but in reality, the 24-year-old failed to live up to those expectations.
In fact, Jordan Poole’s stats in the last five games with the Washington Wizards this season are simply terrible, as revealed via NBACentral on Twitter, and a plethora of NBA fans shared their reaction to his struggles in the aforementioned time span.

Most fans believe that Jordan Poole simply doesn’t want to play for the Wizards as they are one of the worst teams in the NBA.
But isn’t Poole’s poor performance a key reason behind the Wizards’ struggles this season?
The 24-year-old is averaging 16.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game for the Wizards this season while shooting just 40.7% from the field and 31.0% from the three-point line.
Considering Jordan Poole’s poor numbers, it’s no surprise that the Washington Wizards are currently the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with an underwhelming 6-29 record in the 2023-24 NBA season.
