The Los Angeles Lakers are officially in the playoffs after a big win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Tuesday night’s play-in game.
That means they are set to face off against the Memphis Grizzlies in the upcoming first round of the playoffs.
Making it past the Grizzlies will be tough but diehard fans think it’s possible.
One very passionate, very famous fan thinks the Lakers will get a lot further than that.
Ice Cube spoke with Stephen A. Smith on his radio show and said he thinks the Lakers will reach the NBA Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks.
He also thinks LA will beat Milwaukee in the championship.
Lakers over Bucks in the Finals???

Cube has been a devoted follower of the team all his life so it’s not surprising to hear that he thinks they have what it takes to earn another ring.
But NBA fans on Twitter thought his belief was deluded and unrealistic.
“They won’t beat bucks in a 7 game series,” one fan plainly said.

“Did you see the game last night? Lakers ain’t making it past the grizzlies,” another said.

“It’s nice to have a dream,” another user joked.

Cube would probably prefer the Lakers to take on – and take down – the Celtics too since that is one of the biggest NBA rivalries of all time.
I like but, i want Lakers/ Celtics

There is no doubt that the Lakers have been getting better lately.
Their turnaround since the trade deadline has been impressive and unquestionable.
But are they really going to be able to not only beat the Grizzlies but all the other teams that come after them?
If they do, it’ll be one of the most remarkable comebacks in league history.
