DeMar DeRozan and his Chicago Bulls overtook the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, ending that team’s season with a 109-105 win.
Zach LaVine was incredible with 39 points, Nikola Vucevic scored 14 and 13 rebounds, and Patrick Williams, Alex Caruso, and Coby White also pitched in.
Of course, DeRozan was terrific too but it was his nine-year-old daughter who really stole the show.
Diar DeRozan sat courtside during the game and was instantly noticeable because of the shocking and unmistakable way she screamed every time the Raptors attempted a free throw.
To those watching at home, the scream may have been a bit annoying or jarring, but it was very effective too.
The Raptors shot 18-of-36 at the line, exactly 50%.
And DeRozan was immediately celebrated online.

Images of young Diar were bouncing around the web during and after the game.
Many people commented on just how noticeable the screaming was.
“It’s brutal on the broadcast but she cooking,” one fan said.

When the game started, many at-home viewers were wondering what the loud recurring noise was.
But eventually, the broadcasters revealed that it was Diar and she was hailed as the game’s MVP.

“The Bulls organization gotta give her at least 10M for that,” a fan said following the big win.

Others compared her performance to that of LeBron James in the playoffs.
Like James, she seemed tuned in and driven to win.
Her head was definitely in the game.

Diar was perhaps the most enjoyable part of the night for millions of people.
But we likely won’t see her again soon.
Her father admitted that he let her miss a day of school to attend Wednesday’s game but he said she won’t be with the team on Friday night when they face off against the Miami Heat.
That means that game might be a bit quieter – and a bit harder – for the Bulls.
