The Milwaukee Bucks entered the 2024-2025 NBA season as one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference.
They fell flat of their goals last season, but many believed this team was due for a bounceback, potentially hoping they could win another championship.
While there are plenty of games left, the Bucks’ on-court output has left something to be desired.
As NBA Central highlighted on X. they recently fell to 1-6 after a back-and-forth contest with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers are the only undefeated team in the league at the moment, so on one hand, it’s encouraging that the Bucks kept it close.
When fans saw that this loss brought their record to 1-6, they didn’t view this situation as glass-half-full.
Bucks fans, along with NBA fans across social media, made their thoughts abundantly clear on this loss and on the Bucks’ season as a whole.

@ this point can’t be just the coaches fault ? Giannis & Dolla are too much star power to be losing like this.
Trade everyone & fire the coaches ?

As evidenced by the fan reaction, most people believe the Bucks need to either fire Doc Rivers, do a hard reset on the team’s roster, or a combination of the two.
Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play in the loss to the Cavaliers due to an injury concern, which also caused fans to speculate.
Antetokounmpo has been the heart and soul of this team since he was drafted, but there are rumors that he’s unhappy with how things are playing out.
If he decides to take his talents elsewhere, the Bucks could be forced to sell off their top assets and start a rebuild, likely with a new coach.
